lend和borrow怎样区分

們講華語的時候，「借」只有一個字，但是在英文，「借」字是被分成兩種︰Borrow 和 Lend。當我們用本地不準確的英語，我們會聽到 I will borrow you Ten Ringgit。（我借你十零吉），這個句子在英文是錯誤的。正確的句子是 I will lend you Ten Ringgit。

那我們怎能知道什么時候用 lend，什么時候用 borrow 呢？

Lend 的意思是「借給……」︰

例(1)I will lend you the note book.

（我會借那本筆記簿給你。）

(2)Can you lend me the note book.

（你可以借那本筆記簿給我嗎？）

各位讀者，你會注意到凡是英文用 lend 字，翻譯的中文句子便有「借……給」的字出現。

Borrow的意思是「向……借」︰
