Computers are very beneficial for children with certain verbal communication, audio and motor limitations. People can interact with people with the help of computers and carry out things that they usually could not achieve alone. By using computers people can enhance their self-esteem which offers them better sense of control.
Computers are very appealing and might use a strong "holding power" on kids as well as adults. They truly seem to hypnotize people. If the software is not age-appropriate, kids are expected to become frustrated and disappointment. Children with access to software that is not age appropriate may be exposed to such harmful control as aggression, strong language, and over-stimulation from graphics. Recurrent and prolonged computer use might cause physical health problems like: Visual strain, dangerous effects of radiation, and posture/skeletal problems
